Dinner on Friday was the warm-up for the real Xmas in July the following night.
THE MIRACLE OF THE TABLECLOTHS
While setting up for dinner, Robert Alcock provided just the single tablecloth. With tongue-in-cheek, I observed that Robert cannot walk on water, but could he emulate the loaves and fishes miracle, and supply us with many tablecloths. Then I left to fetch a bottle of wine from my cabin and returned a short time later to find a miracle had indeed been performed.
