A fine, cool and breezy day, perfect for walking. We walked 18.1 km from Gerkie Gap Road to Peter's Hill Road. An easy walk on dirt roads and road reserves, which were quite picturesque in some sections. Morning tea was by the side of a dirt road and we stopped at Marrabel for lunch.
After the elaborate costumes of the past, Morris Minus had been returned to his natural state while in Eve Buckley's care. Even his tattoo had been removed. Eve then awarded MM to Carol Clark for bringing a pair of crocs just to get over the only stile in water on the Heysen Trail.
Our theme for the weekend was 'Marrabel' and Dean's flag featured the Marrabel rodeo and the statue of Curio.
