Day 3: Trezona Campground to Bunyeroo Gorge

Tuesday 21st August 2012

A new day and a new twist to the 'Reverse' theme.  The walk leaders became Mean Dortimer, Cleve Stift, and Seter Polomon, but somehow Michael Middleton remained just that. Mean unfurled another flag to lead us out for a beautiful day on the Treysen Hail.  Vohn Jugts was awarded the Morris Minus award and he made merry with Morris over the next two days.

We walked about 15 km, viewing some interesting geological sites and stopping at Yanyanna Hut for lunch.  The stockyards at Yanyanna Hut have been restored since my last visit with End-to-End 3 last year.  As always in the Flinders Ranges, the scenery was magnificent and the walk included several dry creek beds, undulating plains and Bunyeroo Gorge.

A gnarled old gum.
